Ella Rock: Challenging Trek With Stunning Views
A challenging trek along the railway with rewarding views from the summit over tea estates.
Ella Rock is a longer, steeper hike than Little Adam's Peak. The route often follows the railway line before climbing through tea plantations to the top. Allow 3–4 hours return and start early to avoid midday heat.
Views from the summit stretch across the hill country. Wear good shoes and bring plenty of water. Check train times if walking along the tracks and always step aside for trains.
