Welcome to Ella Sri Lanka (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and related services. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Service Explanation
Ella Sri Lanka is a tourism information and connection platform. We do not directly provide accommodation, vehicle rentals, guided tours, dining, or other travel services. We connect users (“you”, “customers”) with independent service providers (“suppliers”) who offer hotels, vehicle rentals, tour guides, restaurants, and related travel services. All bookings, contracts, and service delivery are between you and the relevant supplier. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate discovery and initial contact.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when submitting enquiries or service requests.
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Not misuse the Platform to harass, defraud, or harm suppliers or other users.
- Verify details (pricing, availability, policies) directly with the supplier before making any commitment.
- Comply with applicable local laws when using services arranged through the Platform.
4. Service Requests and Supplier Communication
When you submit a request for information or a booking enquiry through the Platform, we may pass your contact details and message to the relevant supplier. Suppliers are responsible for responding to you and for the accuracy of their offers. We do not guarantee response times, availability, or that any supplier will accept your request. Any agreement you reach with a supplier is solely between you and that supplier; we are not a party to such agreements.
5. Pricing and Availability Disclaimers
Prices, rates, and availability shown on the Platform are indicative and may be supplied by suppliers. They may change without notice and are subject to confirmation by the supplier. Currency (e.g. USD) is for reference; suppliers may quote in other currencies. We do not guarantee that any listed price or availability will remain valid at the time of your enquiry or booking. Always confirm final price and terms directly with the supplier.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Platform is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform or from any transaction or interaction with suppliers, including but not limited to service quality, cancellations, injuries, or disputes.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100), whichever is less.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
